Terms of use
These Terms of Use govern your use of the Kadam app and this website, kadam.health (together, the “Service”), operated by Kadam, based in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan, India (“Kadam”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What Kadam is — and isn't
Kadam is a training, running, nutrition, cycle and recovery app. It reads what you log and what Apple Health passes it, and gives you numbers, plans and a daily brief to help you train and eat with more context. Its guidance comes from deterministic rules and, as it ships, from Kadam AI.
Kadam is not a medical device, and nothing in the Service is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Its outputs are estimates for general fitness and wellbeing only. Never ignore, delay or replace professional medical advice because of something Kadam showed you, and do not use it for medical emergencies. If something worries you, see a qualified doctor.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old to use Kadam. By using the Service you confirm that you are, and that the information you give us about yourself is accurate.
3. Your account
You need an account to use Kadam. You are responsible for your account and for keeping access to it secure. If you think someone else has accessed it, tell us at support@kadam.health. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Account → Delete account).
4. Early access, trial and subscription
While Kadam is in early access, the app is free. When it leaves early access, it becomes a paid subscription, on these terms:
- One-month free trial. New subscribers get a one-month free trial. When it ends, your subscription starts automatically and your App Store or Google Play account is charged, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
- Price. After the trial, Kadam is ₹569 per month. One plan, the whole app — there is no cheaper tier that leaves features out.
- Billing. Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store or Google Play, depending on your device. We never see or store your card details.
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically each month at the then-current price, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends.
- Cancel anytime. Cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
- Refunds. Payments are handled by Apple and Google, so refunds follow their policies and are requested through them.
- Price changes. If we change the price, the new price applies from your next renewal, and you will be notified in advance as the app stores require.
5. Your content
The logs, photos, meals and other data you add to Kadam remain yours. Your health and cycle data stay in an encrypted database on your device. You give us permission to process your data — including through the providers described in our Privacy Policy — solely to provide the Service to you. Only add content you have the right to share.
6. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service lawfully and not to:
- interfere with or disrupt the Service or its security;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other people's data;
- reverse-engineer, copy, scrape or resell the Service or its content;
- use the Service to build a competing product; or
- upload content that is unlawful or that you have no right to share.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.
7. Our content
The Service — its software, design, text, the Kadam name and the mark — belongs to Kadam and is
protected by law. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own
training and wellbeing. You may not reproduce or reuse it without our permission. IBM Plex Mono
is used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1; a copy ships at assets/fonts/OFL.txt.
8. Availability and changes
Kadam is under active development — features may change, be added or be removed, and the Service may occasionally be unavailable. During early access in particular, things may break. We do our best, but the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kadam is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service — including decisions you make based on its numbers, plans or suggestions. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
10. Termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (including 7, 9 and 11) survive termination.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan 335001, India.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Kadam evolves. If we make significant changes, we will update the effective date above and let you know in the app. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
